Review: I absolutely loved this movie! So far this Christmas movie season this one is top notch. The plot, the cast, the chemistry. Everything about it screams amazing.
Torrey DeVitto was absolutely brilliant in the role of Nicole. I haven't seen her in much but I felt for her character right from the beginning. She had a lovely relationship with her fiance and when he was unexpectedly taken from her, just watching her flashbacks and how she grew as a character was amazing. There were definitely a few tear welling moments during this movie as I felt her emotion and loss.
Dylan Bruce. Wow. I loved him as Joe. He added an element of humour and was also so supporting and such a great lead character. He had great chemistry with Torrey DeVitto's character. The scene in front of her apartment where he looks confused and then just out of nowhere kisses her. So great. The lines, the delivery and the awkwardness of both were amazing. Loved every minute of that scene. Not to mention the tears I had when she opened that last gift that he made for her. Sob.
Patrick Duffy. I really like him and always have. I would have liked to have seen him more in this movie. He offered great support and wisdom to his daughter. I couldn't help but feel for him while watching this as I know that he has lost his wife not too long ago and I kept wondering if what he was saying or feeling during that moment had him thinking of her.
Supporting cast, writing, scenery and plot were fantastic in this movie. This will definitely go on my list to watch again. You will not be disappointed.
