Review:

So I really like Damon Runyan. I try to watch any movie that has him in it so I was super excited to watch this one. Well let's just say he was good but the movie, not so much.

A Snowy Christmas finds lawyer Kelly (Elysia Rotaru) returning home to spend Christmas with her family. While there she finds out her family home is slated to be purchased by a developer and replaced with condos. Also when she is home she dreams of the perfect man. She runs outside and builds a snowman with her sister and wishes that in some way the perfect man will show up at her doorstep. Well a short while later there's a knock on the door and enter Forrest (Runyan) who is awfully like the perfect snowman she built. Could it be? Did her wish come true?

This movie was super slow and lacked any real story line. The premise was ridiculous and the lead actors not only lacked any chemistry but barely spent screen time together. Runyan seemed to be the only person onscreen that had any talent or delivery. Everyone other performance seemed forced and lacked emotion. The brother in law...well that's another story. I just didn't really like the movie. Admittedly the last 5 minutes where the two leads reconcile and find their way back to each other had some promise. Promise that perhaps their love story may have been better if they actually had some solid screen time together for the rest of the movie. And why is it in every movie that the "conflict" always has someone rushing to conclusions and never giving anyone a chance to explain anything. Gee whiz if she had just let Forrest talk for 3 seconds she would have seen that she was completely stupid and avoided the situation all together. Talk about an over reaction to nothing. This is getting so old in these movies and something needs to change as it is always the same.

This is a movie you can pass on. Trust me.
