Review:
Honestly I am still trying to process this movie. It wasn't stellar by any means. I spent alot of the movie just thinking how the script was similar in ways to "It Was Always You." Yes there was enough that wasn't similar but some plot points that were the same. And seriously? What was with that line at the end of the movie? Didn't like how he pulled the famous line from IWAY and used it here. No thanks.
Emily Osment was fairly good in this role. Unfortunately there was limited chemistry with her costar Casey Deidrick. I felt like Deidrick was stiff and so underwhelming as a lead. Yes he is good looking but there wasn't any substance to him. For as good as Osment was, all other cast members were just not. The bride? Oh my goodness. A whiny, entitled, lazy cry baby. If she was my soon to be sister in law I honestly wouldn't have wanted to help her at all. And I honestly don't understand how everyone in her family would let the whole wedding day pass without saying happy birthday to her. Really? It's a milestone birthday and you all know she was born on Dec 24. The least you could have done was acknowledge it earlier in the day. Don't get me started on the love fest during the speeches for her. Thought that was way over the top and not necessary. Yes it's your wedding day. Wake up, say happy birthday to the girl, then go on and celebrate your day.
I don't really have anything else to say. One solid performance but not solid enough to carry the whole movie. Boring and not worth watching again.
