Review:
"Love In Action" is a brand new Hallmark movie that aired only in Canada on February 6, 2022. I'm not sure when this movie will be released in the USA but let me tell you, you should watch it when it does air! Now I know most of my readers are from the US so I will do my review much differently for this movie. No need to worry, I will NOT have any spoilers as I do know what to ruin the movie.
What I will say is that Christopher Russell and Cindy Busby have worked together a few times before and have an excellent rapport with each other. Love In Action puts them back together and boy do they shine. The chemistry between their characters is lively, funny, electric and just plain works. I absolutely loved them paired together in this and they were well cast in their respective roles.
Busby plays a fitness expert who is known to whip even top celebrities back into shape. She gets the opportunity to work with Russell, who is a famous movie star who has let himself go. What follows is a hilarious boot camp filled with exercise, humour, great scenery and electric chemistry between the two leads. Christopher Russell is absolutely endearing in his role as the hot celebrity who let himself go. When I saw him on screen with a little bit of a chubby belly, this was so funny. I loved him in this role and even Busby, who's character was a bit over eager for fitness, plays her character so well.
I know I'm not saying too much in my review here but this is deliberate. I really don't want to give any teasers or spoilers as this is a movie that you need to watch on your own. It's different to your regular Hallmark plots and adds some humour and great on screen chemistry. Once this movie airs in the US, I will review it again to give you my full thoughts.
