Review: I really didn't have much high hopes for this movie. When I saw the trailer it didn't really intrigue me and I thought it would be a real snooze of a movie. I was wrong. This movie was actually alot better than I thought. It was a solid 3 1/4 star movie.

The relationship between every single character in this movie was great. The actors/actress in this movie were well suited for each role. I can't imagine any other actor and/or actress playing them. Bedford (Campbell) and Sullivan (Gallagher) were just fun to watch. Their love/hate for each other as a long time singing partner was charming. I really enjoyed them and their growth in this movie. I love how Sullivan handed him lyrics on a song sheet at the end. Just another way he could help his "brother". There was something about that scene that made me tear up. I think it's because I know what it's like to watch a loved one go through the stages of Alzheimer's. Seeing Mike Sullivan taking care of his long time singing partner just was touching knowing that years down the road their relationship would be significantly changed.

When Bedford (Campbell) was telling his son Jason (Dalton) about having Alzheimer's I admit I was choked up. The line he used trying to explain what was happening to his memory...gulp. "My memory felt like snow melting through my fingers." What an analogy. Wow. Heartbreaking

I loved Brett Dalton in this film. I wouldn't change one thing about him in this movie. He was a good manager, great son, great friend and more. The chemistry with Eloise Mumford was off the charts. When he grabbed her hand after he put up the tree topper...swoon.

A good movie definitely worth watching at least once.
