Review: I'm not really sure how I go about reviewing this movie. It's a hard one. I may just have to watch it again. So the short and sweet of it, I really loved Jordin Sparks and Michael Xavier together in this movie. Every time they were together they had such great chemistry and they were so interesting to watch together. I thoroughly enjoyed every interaction that they had together. Having said that...what was the movie about? That's what bothered me. I really had no clue what the purpose of the movie was. I realize there was a time capsule and it was opened blah blah blah. I know Lou (Sparks) quit her job to focus on writing a novel. But all of these stories never really caught on or were told well. So a lot of the time I was wondering where things were going. So for about an hour I wondered what the purpose of the movie was as it was slow and nothing worked unless Sparks and Xavier were on screen together. Then in the last 15 minutes Lou finishes her book and realizes she could write anywhere and decides to stay home. OK. And then the magic lamp lights up in the window as they kiss. OK. Not one of my favourites.
