So season 6 is now behind me & full disclosure...I couldn't wait and actually watched all of S7 and started S8! But...before I continue watching S8, I wanted to comment on a few things in S7.

Category: LOVE IT!
What: Rosemary & Lee's Anniversary
So if I haven't mentioned it already I absolutely love the pairing of Lee and Rosemary. The two are just perfect for each other and I just love watching them navigate through Hope Valley as a couple. They really do have such a loving and playful marriage and work together like a couple should. It's nice to see a couple stand the test of time in a series for once as often, for story line purposes, writers tend to get them together only to then break them up. I'm hoping that I don't see that with these characters.
S7 saw Lee & Rosemary starting to plan a whirlwind anniversary trip. In true fashion Rosemary is beyond excited and even buys herself a pair of sunglasses and designs some interesting swimsuits for the pair. I would have loved to see Lee wear the striped bathing suit by the way. 😂
Anyway unfortunately the trip has to be postponed due to some business matters and although disappointed, Rosemary is supportive and understanding. LOVE this about this couple. But it doesn't stop there.
Lee knows that Rosie is disappointed and wanted to see her first moving picture and what does he do? He brings it to her. SIGH!
This was such a sweet and romantic gesture and I can imagine how much she felt loved and appreciated by her husband.
Honestly some of the other couples in Hope Valley could stand to look at Rosemary and Lee's relationship and learn something. This couple is in it for life. They laugh and cry together. They have open communication and work out their differences. They always look for ways to show the other that they are appreciated and loved. This is what I love. They are truly one of my favourite things about this show.
I mean this guy went all out to make sure that his love felt special on her anniversary.
This is definitely a LOVE IT moment for me.
